Ricciardo: Monaco GP Cancellation is Painful

From the start of pre-season testing, we have been hearing some news about the outbreak of coronavirus. Little did we know that the situation will end up like this and therefore people were not ready for this epidemic; however, the fact of the matter is that nothing is more disturbing and exhausting for us than the outbreak of this epidemic. As we all know that the outbreak of coronavirus has affected the world of F1 very strongly. There are a number of races that have now got canceled because of this race. We all would agree with the fact that from F1 teams to fans, everyone was waiting for this Grand Prix. However, the postponement has not only taken a toll on F1 racing drivers, but it has also hurt many fans and followers of F1. Some of the best and major F1 racing drivers also faced disappointment.

Monaco GP cancellation

Not only pre-season testing rounds have been in jeopardy but also all the eight opening races got canceled that have certainly shaken all the F1 fans to the core. All the team has been working very hard to nail this F1 season and they have also launched some of the high-tech and exceptionally technical cars just to make sure they win this time. However, the reality is that none of the F1 teams were given the chance to show their potential to the fullest as these races did not happen and there is no chance of Grand Prix in the next few days as well. We can only pray and hope for the betterment of the situation because only then we will be able to enjoy the full and happening F1 season in the best way possible.

There is no doubt in the fact that more than F1 fans, teams, and racing drivers are hurt and disappointed. They all have invested months and years to prepare for this Grand Prix but now they are not even able to show their potential in the best manner. For this reason, we all know that nothing is more important for all of us than paying attention to dealing with this epidemic with the help of safety measures. Here are some of the most important reasons why Monaco GP cancellation should not be painful and disheartening for F1 fans and teams.

Safety comes first:

All F1 teams and fans should understand that F1 has made the right decision and instead of raising questions on the cancellation of races, we all must support this stance. This action is not only in favor of all F1 teams but it is also in the favor of all fans and followers who were willing to attend the Grand Prix race in Australia or in Bahrain. Hence, we can say that safety comes first and we all should take this epidemic seriously and take all the necessary measures that are important to stay healthy and safe.

There is no point of putting lives of so many people on stake:

We all would agree with the fact that there is no point in conducting and arranging the grand F1 race even after knowing that it would put the lives of so many people at risk. Hence, it would not be wrong if we say that F1 has made the best and most accurate decision at this time. As a fan of F1, we all must support the stance of the F1 management in the best way possible.

Health should be everyone priority:

There is nothing more important for everyone at this time than paying attention to making our health and safety our first priority. Hence, instead of getting worried about the postponement of F1 races, we must encourage this stance of F1 management. There is no point in getting hurt because it would have made more and more people suffer in this situation.
