Formula 1 2020 Day 1 Testing 2 Results
The test begins on the first day of the second week. All teams will test new 2020 machines for three days this week and then hope to travel to Australia for the first race at Melbourne’s Albert Park.
After 2.5 hours of testing, Nicholas Latifi drove Williams to stop working after a fairly good lap time on the W43, triggering the first red flag. He even drove the fastest part of the time at that time, only 0.5 seconds slower than Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes, the fastest speed of 1: 17.753 minutes.
Robert Kubica ranks first on Alfa Romeo’s chronograph. Max Verstappen spun twice, but managed to get second place, with Sergio Perez third. Red flag flutters after Sebastian Vettel spins and drags gravel to the track.
